Happier while living next to the seaside? / reaction
As I can speak for myself, I am really happy to live
near the sea. I only have to drive for 10 minutes and I am able to stand with
my feet in the sea. As I am driving to the city once a week for my study, it
makes me consider how lucky I am that when I go to work I don’t have to
consider traffic jams and all sorts of things that one has to do living in or
near a city. The air in the place I live is much cleaner than the air hanging
around a city. Most of the time I create a headache but coming back home in the
clear air the headache will disappear.
To bad that they did not research why people that live by the sea are happier. If we would now, maybe people who live away from the sea could benefit from it, by trying to copy those aspects.

This conclusion doesn't surprise me , because you get the same feeling on holiday. The sea relaxes by its sound,space and view.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI have the same feeling when sailing on the river close to my home. It is a pity that the air at the river side is less healthy than at the seaside, probably because of the purifying effect of saltwater.
