Anders Behring Breivik has told his trial in Oslo he believes there can be only
two "just" outcomes to his trial - acquittal or the death penalty.*
At planning his criminal and political deed, he did not expect to survive. Breivik thought he would be killed during the bombing of the governmental building or that he would not be able to escape from the island where he killed 69 young people who were there for a political party. He claimed to act out his political deed to prevent Norway from rising multiculturalism.
He believes a long-life sentence would be ridiculous; he claims a death penalty or acquittal the best punishment for his actions.
