Happier while living next to the seaside? / reaction

As I can speak for myself, I am really happy to live near the sea. I only have to drive for 10 minutes and I am able to stand with my feet in the sea. As I am driving to the city once a week for my study, it makes me consider how lucky I am that when I go to work I don’t have to consider traffic jams and all sorts of things that one has to do living in or near a city. The air in the place I live is much cleaner than the air hanging around a city. Most of the time I create a headache but coming back home in the clear air the headache will disappear.

Researchers discovered people of all age groups found the seaside more refreshing than the country*

A study to the beneficial effects on the rural and urban environment on people has been presented to the British Psychological Society in which researchers examined the effects of different types of outdoor environments on people. They discovered that the bracing seaside air had a more positive effect on people than the air of the countryside or an urban park.

The study undertaken by Katherine Ashbullby and Mathew White, looked at responses from 2,750 people in England over two years, comparing their experiences of the seaside, countryside and urban parks. While all of these could be refreshing, the greatest sense of pleasure came from exercising beside the sea - regardless of factors such as age, where they lived and who they were with when they were visiting.

There are no clear conclusions about why being beside the seaside should be more refreshing than other types of settings, but the researchers are considering a range of possibilities like social or cultural expectations, individual childhood associations or just the light fall at the beach and the sound of the sea.

Breivik prefers deadpenalty / summary

Anders Behring Breivik has told his trial in Oslo he believes there can be only two "just" outcomes to his trial - acquittal or the death penalty.*
At planning his criminal and political deed, he did not expect to survive. Breivik thought he would be killed during the bombing of the governmental building or that he would not be able to escape from the island where he killed 69 young people who were there for a political party. He claimed to act out his political deed to prevent Norway from rising multiculturalism.
He believes a long-life sentence would be ridiculous; he claims a death penalty or acquittal the best punishment for his actions.

Breivik prefers deadpenalty/ reaction

Anders Behring Breivik has told his trial in Oslo he believes there can be only two "just" outcomes to his trial - acquittal or the death penalty.* Can you believe it?  This man that "only" brutally killed 77 people in Norway last year July thinks he did nothing wrong. He told the jury and to the whole world he did it from a "good heart", he wanted to free the world from ethnic people.
"He has said he carried out the attacks to defend "ethnic Norwegians" from rising multiculturalism. "
I really believe this man is insane and as for me I think the world owns him the worst penalty we could give him. So long-life sentence, an imprisonment he really hates, would do the trick. Give him the things he doesn't want, hopefully it will teach him a lesson!
