Here are some pictures shown on this article of the Sun. Who has the ugliest tattoo... Famous people like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and even Michael Jackson are inked on the body of numerous fans. They are sometimes very creative or sometimes very colourful or just very ugly. Some tattoos or on spots of the body were one could never expect it would be there. Like the eagle on the bottom of a person. Another guy, probably addicted to fast food, has the Capital M of McDonalds inked on his back showing the word underneath: "Always loving it".

Reaction: 

For me it is unbelievable that you would like to mistreat your body in such a way as most of the above pictures that were shown in the Sun. I cannot say that I dislike tattoos or in anyway inking your body, but these pictures and signs are really ugly. They are not very modest. I like a small or little tattoo on your ankle, or back of the shoulder, maybe on the arm, but that is it. I never wanted one because I always had to think of how it is going to look like when you are older like in your seventies.

Many transformations are needed in order to host The Olympic Games. Streets are transformed, sporting venues are built even WIFI has been taken care of in the underground railways.
There is the Cisco House Project that is keen on getting the idea of the Games being associated with transformation. They built a kind of technical show-home for businesses with the intention to communicate the importance of technology to the public. Cisco's Dom Joyce tells us in an interview that he compares the project with a kind of ecosystem. All these transformations that are made possible by Cisco, the official network infrastructure supporter of the Games, are ways to show the public what we are capable of with the help of new technology and computers.

Reaction:
I believe we can no longer deny what computers can do for our environment. What the Cisco House Project is trying to do is showing the public of the Olympic Games that we can profit of the invention of all new technology and we can learn from it that we can arrange things in a totally different manner than we were used to. For example all visitors of the Games that will travel at the same time can disturb the traffic of people who are off to go to work enormously. Traffic jams will be the order of the day. But when businesses are wise they let their employees do their work during these events at home behind the computer. So no losses on profits, no extra costs for delayed employees and all work can be done smoothly. This is just one of the profitable examples of modern technology and I believe we should look at it that way.

Angelina Jolie is not the only famous star who wants to look more like Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William of England.

Miss Jolie and her fiancé Brad Pitt are throwing an Olympics Party in honor of Sir Muhammad Ali. She invited on her party list among many famous other people, Prince William and Kate Middleton. The party will be held a night before the Olympics will take place in London in order to raise funds for Sports for Peace. The main event will be what kind of outfit the Duchess will wear and what the outfit will be of the host, Angelina Jolie.

Reaction:

I believe this article is worth laughing at! What it is about... Kate Middleton is a beautiful woman but in my opinion Angelina Jolie as well. The discussion about what clothes they will wear and who will choose the best ouftit is one of the least intelligent I can imagine. These girls are better of wondering how much money they are going to collect and in what aspect they will succeed and what will be needed in order to start fundraising. It would be a good idea to auction their similar dresses and appear in only jeans and t-shirt. The money they would have spent on a new dress could be best spent on this charity event.

There is a flood alert on England and Wales due to a forecast for a once-in-a-50-years’storm that is heading for Britain. Starting of this evening of the 14^th of June and after a longer period of dry weather heavy rains are expected which will cause heavy flooding. So the Environment Agency is warning everyone in the area of South-West, Wales and Midlands. All necessary precautions must be and are already taken. There have already been exceptional downpours in other areas and the heaviest showers are expected on Thursday night and Friday during daytime. Saturday it will be better with less rain and more sunshine.

Reaction:

Can you imagine, it is June and such a heavy weather forecast is predicted upon your country. I certainly do believe weather is changing, but what causes it?  Are we, the people, responsible for climate changes?

Such short period and heavy rains are more for warm tropical countries I would say.

On the other hand the forecast is told in a manner in which I almost would say it comes from a sensational newspaper. However they called it an unseasonable Atlantic storm so it is obvious it is not normal in this time of year.

Cameron's blunder!

After an outing to a 16^th century pub in Cadsden, PM Cameron forgot to take with him his eight-year-old daughter Nancy. He and his wife left with different cars after a lunch they had with friends at The Plough’s Inn. Nancy was left behind in the loo without the knowledge of the parents. Samantha, Cameron’s wife, thought she was in the car with her daddy and the PM thought his daughter to be in the car with his wife. After they discovered their mistake when they arrived at the PM’s official residence, the PM drove straight back to fetch his daughter, who was not at all in distress and happily chatting with the waitress of the pub.

Reaction:

Is it nowadays working pressure or just ignorance of the Prime Minister and his wife? Indeed, I would have counted heads anyway. My child is the most important of anything in the world. I got locked up in the loo once when I was a younger girl and I was really in distress, because I thought my parents would leave me behind. We were on holiday and ready to go home.  I cannot imagine that Cameron and Samantha forgot completely about their little girl. So let’s give them the best of all ideas, there must have been too much on their minds!

During hard economic times there is a British company with a fresh look on how to run business and therefore they outlived many companies with a similar manufacturing product as they have.  The company is named GKN (Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds) they carry this name since 1986 but the company is British-owned after 253 years!

“Only three or four firms in the world can do what we do,” says Marcus Bryson, head of GKN’s aerospace division and the chief executive, Nigel Stein claims “We have been very good at recognizing that things don’t last forever”. From driveline businesses for cars they flew into the aerospace business developing a material that is called fiber glass that can be used in cars nowadays as well.

Reaction:

I admire these companies who cannot sit still and learn from what is going around in the world. There is a lot of energy in such a way of working and these companies display a lot of reliability. It works good in a time of austerity and I believe that the mentality of similar companies restrain us from going deep down under in times of economic crisis going on. And the technical background I like with the exploring character of using high tech fiberglass normally used in aeroplanes, now to be used in the construction of automobiles.
